Leadership Training Sponsorship

McKinney Leadership Training Scholarship

The North Central Regional Planning Commission (NCRPC) encourages a culture of learning, leading and teaching. In doing so, we are pleased to sponsor up to one individual each year to participate in the “Your Leadership Edge” training program offered by the Kansas Leadership Center in Wichita, KS.

The McKinney Leadership Training Scholarship covers the cost of attending the “Your Leadership Edge” training for an individual living and/or working in North Central Kansas (NCRPC 12-county service area) who has shown commitment to improving their community or work place. The award is named in honor of Doug McKinney, who was NCRPC Executive Director for 12 years and passionate about leadership during his 34-year tenure with the organization.

If chosen, a code will be provided for the recipient to complete online KLC registration for the date of their choice.
